An attacker can identify a CISCO device by sending a SYN packet to port 1999, which is for the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP). Cisco Router is prone to a remote security vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to perform unauthorized actions. This may aid in further attacks. There is a security hole in the CDP
