TITLE

Sinapsi eSolar Unauthorized Access Vulnerability

Trust: 1.6

sources: IVD: b58d5746-1f4a-11e6-abef-000c29c66e3d // IVD: 7d7eb290-463f-11e9-b04a-000c29342cb1 // CNVD: CNVD-2012-7831 // CNNVD: CNNVD-201211-428

DESCRIPTION

The management web pages on the Sinapsi eSolar Light Photovoltaic System Monitor (aka Schneider Electric Ezylog photovoltaic SCADA management server), Sinapsi eSolar, and Sinapsi eSolar DUO with firmware before 2.0.2870_2.2.12 do not require authentication, which allows remote attackers to obtain administrative access via a direct request, as demonstrated by a request to ping.php. Sinapsi eSolar is a monitoring and data acquisition (SCADA) product. Sinapsi eSolar Light is a monitoring system used in solar applications. The vulnerability stems from the fact that the program does not require authentication. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The final version of the CSI 6.0 has been released. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. 3) Input passed via the "ping" parameter to ping.php is not properly verified before being used to execute commands and can be exploited to execute arbitrary shell commands. The security issue and the vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2.0.2870_2.2.12. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.0.2870_2.2.12.
