DESCRIPTION

The XML API service in the Fabric Interconnect component in Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (API service outage) via a malformed XML document in a packet, aka Bug ID CSCtg48206. Cisco Unified Computing System is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because it fails to properly validate user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this issue to cause denial-of-service conditions. This issue is tracked by Cisco Bug ID CSCtg48206.
