CVE-2015-2815

TITLE

SAP Kernel of NetWeaver Dispatcher of C_SAPGPARAM Buffer overflow vulnerability in functions

Trust: 0.8

sources: JVNDB: JVNDB-2015-002061

DESCRIPTION

Buffer overflow in the C_SAPGPARAM function in the NetWeaver Dispatcher in SAP KERNEL 7.00 (7000.52.12.34966) and 7.40 (7400.12.21.30308) allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors, aka SAP Security Note 2063369. SAP Kernel of NetWeaver Dispatcher of C_SAPGPARAM The function contains a buffer overflow vulnerability. SAP NetWeaver is prone to a remote buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to adequately bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it to an insufficiently sized memory buffer. Attackers may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed exploit attempts may result in a denial-of-service condition.
