DESCRIPTION

The GatewayScript modules on IBM DataPower Gateways with software 7.2.0.x before 7.2.0.1, when the GatewayScript decryption API or a JWE decrypt action is enabled, do not require signed ciphertext data, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain plaintext data via a padding-oracle attack. IBM DataPower Gateway is prone to an information-disclosure vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to obtain sensitive information that may lead to further attacks. IBM DataPower Gateway is a security and integration platform specially designed for mobile, cloud, application programming interface (API), network, service-oriented architecture (SOA), B2B and cloud workloads of IBM Corporation in the United States, which can utilize a dedicated gateway The platform secures, integrates and optimizes access across channels. GatewayScript is one of the modules for handling mobile, web and API workloads and optimizing the gateway environment
