CVE-2017-2364

TITLE

Apple iOS and Safari Used in etc. WebKit Vulnerabilities that bypass the same origin policy

Trust: 0.8

sources: JVNDB: JVNDB-2017-001561

DESCRIPTION

An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.2.1 is affected. Safari before 10.0.3 is affected. The issue involves the "WebKit" component. It allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy and obtain sensitive information via a crafted web site. Apple iOS and Safari Used in etc. WebKit is prone to a security bypass vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to bypass security restrictions; other attacks are also possible. Apple iOS is an operating system developed for mobile devices; Safari is a web browser that is the default browser included with Mac OS X and iOS operating systems. WebKit is a set of open source web browser engines jointly developed by companies such as KDE, Apple (Apple), and Google (Google), and is currently used by browsers such as Apple Safari and Google Chrome. A security vulnerability exists in the WebKit component of Apple Safari prior to 10.0.3 and iOS prior to 10.2.1. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ WebKitGTK+ Security Advisory WSA-2017-0002 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Date reported : February 10, 2017 Advisory ID : WSA-2017-0002 Advisory URL : https://webkitgtk.org/security/WSA-2017-0002.html CVE identifiers : CVE-2017-2350, CVE-2017-2354, CVE-2017-2355, CVE-2017-2356, CVE-2017-2362, CVE-2017-2363, CVE-2017-2364, CVE-2017-2365, CVE-2017-2366, CVE-2017-2369, CVE-2017-2371, CVE-2017-2373.
