DESCRIPTION

A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue affected versions prior to iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, iTunes 12.9 for Windows, iCloud for Windows 7.7. Apple Has released an update for each product.The expected impact depends on each vulnerability, but can be affected as follows: * Service operation interruption (DoS) * Arbitrary code execution * Script execution * information leak * Access restriction avoidance. This vulnerability allows local attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Apple macOS. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.The specific flaw exists within the handling of cookie data. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the current user. Apple iOS, etc. are all products of Apple (Apple).
