DESCRIPTION

An out-of-bounds read was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in Safari 16, iOS 16, iOS 15.7 and iPadOS 15.7. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. apple's Safari , iPadOS , iOS Exists in an out-of-bounds read vulnerability.Information is obtained, information is tampered with, and service operation is interrupted. (DoS) It may be in a state. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Apple WebKit. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.The specific flaw exists within the implementation of the drawRangeElements method in WebGL2. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. Apple Safari is a web browser that is the default browser included with the Mac OS X and iOS operating systems. There is a security vulnerability in Apple macOS Safari WebKit. A remote attacker can use this vulnerability to submit a special web request, trick the user into parsing it, cause the service program to crash or execute arbitrary code in the application context.
